Yes, you're quite right. British troops are destined for peace-keeping
duties in and around Basra (strictly *around* I would suggest!) (I don't
think they'll dare step inside.).

Besides, British troops don't want to be anywhere near American troops with
loaded guns this time. In Gulf War I our biggest batch of fatalities was
when the Americans shot us up by mistake!
