I think I agree, Selma. Linear and non-linear thinking are terms familiar for us in the realm of creativity. Maybe 20 years ago de Bono popularized the term lateral thinking.
I have a question: is intuition a form of non linear thinking?

Do you agree that when one speaks of non-linear one is saying that it cannot be explained in terms of causality, mechanics, material considerations, etc.?  Or not?
