It is not me, but I think it is stripped to 11 chars on purpose.

Fixed.

NEWS "fixed". Desktops improved, but it should be really reformatted
not to contain any <pre>.

Still, if someone sets a too narrow window or too large fonts this always
can happen with any page especially if it uses <pre> ot tables.

I think you speak about index.html and desktops.php, you should
instead see index.php and desktops.php. It is a temporary problem
that desktops.php links to ./ that currently defaults to index.html
on fvwm.org. Currently use Back button to return, not the pager.

I think this sentense is not complete. I don't see a problem with
the "Documentation" page and the "man pages" picture.

You probably mean it is a picture shot from 2.4.x, not 2.5.x.

It should be of course done later. There will be a page that links to all
mailing list archives and searches on the web, there are several with
some advantages and disadvatages. Maybe some search form too.

No opinion here, and I do not do the section coding anyway :).
It probably may be done like you suggest later.

I think it is good to have one "item" icon for the main page and this
page. It will be loaded only once and will be cached for other pages.
I will try to find a nice "item" icon.

Both done.

Mikhael.
