This a layout suggestion in the style of fvwm vector
buttons. It shows a possible fvwm window decoration. We may
add more or less buttons if or use graphical window
decoration like:

I put it on the "x" to close the window decoration. To put
it there was thought to be a fancy hidden feature.
When I had the window layout inside my browser I tried
intuitively to press one of the window buttons ;-)

More layouts may be accessable via a separate layout
page. Which allows one to specify how layout information are
passed to sub pages (cookie, get, session, maybe post).

You really want to have javascript on the fvwm web page?

This can be done, but may take a while.

Currently I convert the layout defintion to php classes so
that further layouts can be derived from a layout base
class. Once this is done - we can easily make further
layouts with windowlist or other navigation styles.

Yes, you right. I thought it as a fancy add-on. I have removed
them for now.
