Try to do the next command before starting kde applications: $ dcop kded kded loadModule kdetrayproxy As I've understood this module (kdetrayproxy) do some stuff for translating kde systray protocol to freedesktop specification for notification area. Maybe I'm wrong in explanation (correct me please if you know right one), but it doesn't really matter, because now I can use amarok, psi and kbluetoothd with trayer (and others like xystray)! But I have another problem with trayer: I swallow trayer to the FvwmButton. Then, when an icon is added to the trayer, the trayer disappears. When I resize the button, in which trayer is swallowed, the trayer appears again (with icons in it). -- Alexander Kolosov
