Ah, I see what you mean now. I copied the output from a window which was
at that moment in a normal position inside the page. It only misbehaves
when there is not enough room.

Here is the output from a window that crosses the page border:

Here it is:

My problem: most windows behave correctly but some applications open
their windows partly in the next page, which is not what I want.
Examples are: btdownloadgui.bittornado, seahorse (the enter passphrase
dialog) and gmpc.

I use Xinerama with DesktopSize 4x1 and MinOverlapPercentPlacement
style. Could MinOverlapPercentPlacement be the problem?
