I copied the output from a window which was at that moment in a normal position inside the page. It only misbehaves when there is not enough room. Here is the output from a window that crosses the page border: [FVWM][__explain_placement]: placed new window 0x2a0008e 'BitTorrent T-0.3.15 (BitTornado) download': desk 0 (current desk) current page screen: current screen: 1280 0 1280x1024 (current screen) position 2158 25, placed by fvwm (normal placement) placement method: MinOverlapPercent > I can't either because you cut your original message from the > context of your reply and I usually don't keep copies of mails to > which I replied with context. Examples are: btdownloadgui.bittornado, seahorse (the enter passphrase dialog) and gmpc. I use Xinerama with DesktopSize 4x1 and MinOverlapPercentPlacement style. Could MinOverlapPercentPlacement be the problem? full config: http://www.xs4all.nl/~frhart/config current situation: http://www.xs4all.nl/~frhart/screenshot_bad.png (notice the "gmpc - id3 info" window) how it should be: http://www.xs4all.nl/~frhart/screenshot_good.png ----------------------------------------------------------------------- > Ciao > Dominik ^_^ ^_^ -- Frank Hart
