Assuming I have a set of static images in a format that FVWM understands (eg .png or .xpm or something), how do I tell fvwm & FvwmIconBox to associate one of these images and trigger an fvwmevent, *from Tcl*, and do this in a way that will work cleanly with other window managers and in a cross-platform way? Tcl's wm iconwindow ... interface *should* do this, but either Tcl's wm iconwindow mechanisim is broken (doubtful) or FvwmIconBox is broken (likely). Since it does work if I have fvwm handle the icons, eg placing them directly on the desktop, it seems to be a problem with FvwmIconBox, specificly the Fvwm 2.5 incarnation of FvwmIconBox, since it also works with the Fvwm 2.4 incarnation of FvwmIconBox. > > > > -- Robert Heller -- 978-544-6933 Deepwoods Software -- Linux Installation and Administration http://www.deepsoft.com/ -- Web Hosting, with CGI and Database [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Contract Programming: C/C++, Tcl/Tk
