Title: RE: [FW1] SETI@home a concern?

I'd be surprised if there were any security issues with SETI@home. It uses port 80 or 1080 to transmit and receive small encrypted blocks of data (~300K) when it is done with processing - which is usually every couple of days.

Some of our employees are installing this application on their PCs.

Anyone know if SETI@home is a security concern and if so, what ports
to block?

Cheers,
