Hi everyone -
Well - it was a long battle for us, but with the suggestions from here, we did
succeed. We currently are using a Cisco 675 (NAT'd, this ones on a small network) on
the other end and version 4165 SecuRemote. Of course we did have to have the CBOS
updated to the almost current version (2.3.5) on the router. We have now been able to
telnet to servers behind the firewall. We still have not worked out the bugs with
logging into the Novell servers though, anybody out there with some thoughts on that?
Thanks,
Gerri

using NAT on both ends, you will not get fwz to work. NAT and fwz make a
very bitter drink when mixed.

Subject: [FW1] DSL and Secure remote
Sensitivity: Personal
Hello there,
Do you guys knows of any "DSL Router Modems" that would
work perfectly with secure remote. I've Been using a routing software
called freesco acting like a Cisco router using "IP masquerading" and
I am not getting thru using FWZ even with all the needed ports
(udp259,500- tcp256,264 and protocol 94,50,51) open.
ALL INPUTS WILL BE APPRECIATED, Thanks.
