I am working for a norwegian newspaper and we would like to use
Zend_Search_Lucene, but so far I have not been able to get any good
results with ut. The biggest problem is that the information I am
indexing is in ISO-8859-1 and contains norwegian characters such as æ, ø
and å. Some stuff I want to index also contains html and I would like an
html analyzer. I can se in some comments in the code that they want to
make some HTML and XML analyzers but I downloaded from subversion the
other day and I could not see that anyone of those have been
implemented. I can also see that they convert everything to ASCII using
iconv('', 'ASCII//TRANSLIT', ...) upon indexing and because of that the
norwegian characters disappear...
Anyone else here have some experience with Zend_Search_Lucene?
