You should switch to ISO-8859-15 as the chars you mentioned are not
supported
within ISO-8859-1.
That is not true, æ, ø and å are definitely in ISO-8859-1 (but also in
-15). -15 has additionally support for the € sign as well.
Oops... my fault... sorry...
I looked in the wrong charset ;-)
