Either I was wrong, or this is a derivative, but the vendor who will be hosting it is at http://www.practicefusion.com/ Which *IS* advertised as being web-based and secure; seems like it's all HTTPS connections. If all the devices connect to the service over HTTPS, and this service is the only one that's sensitive, then it seems like OpenVPN may be a little overkill, right? The WPA2 plus MAC address list seems sufficient.
