Where does one get the vendor supplied driver?

Are you suggesting picking up an internal Airport card and sticking it into
the PC Card slot?

Do the Airport cards working in both 9 and x work in X 10.1.5?

Thanks

You guys could easily find solutions to your problems searching the

group. I know that Belkin cards work. I don't now recall the model

number but I'm certain ver.001 of the card works, and works well. I

have a list somewhere of what works and what does not. If you need it,

send me an E-mail. I currently have one of those Belkins on my Pismo.

Airport b cards work for both 9 and X.

Airport g cards probably work for X, only.

Third-party b cards work with 9 with the vendor-supplied driver. A
fourth-party driver is required for b with X. That driver costs more than
the card itself, and is locked to the card's MAC address, so should the card
fail, the driver is toast, too.

Third-party g cards work with X with the vendor-supplied driver. The
fourth-party driver may work, too, but my experience with that driver has
been decidedly negative with whatever card was purported to be supported (I
tried several, in trial mode).

Belkin Ver. 2000 cards are Broadcom and work with X as an Airport Extreme
card. No vendor driver is required.

They do take the Cardbus slot, however, and not the Pismo's internal Airport
card slot.
