Let it charge to 100%, then unplug it. LEt it run down to 0%. If it goes to sleep to save battery, let it sleep until it shuts down. Then plug it in and boot it up. It should charge faster or more accurately. That process is called calibrating the battery. It allows the OS to accurately state the battery level to the user. This should work. Good luck!
