I purchased a PowerBook G4 1.67ghz, and am utterly happy with it, with only one gripes.
The first being that, after not doing anything audio related, if I try to change the volume, the volume box with the 16 segment bar pops up with great delay, and instead of making the litlte plap noise it should make, the speakers just kinda make some odd grustling noise. It proceeds to do this about once every two seconds for as many times as I pressed the button until the audio wakes up and starts working - after that, it's fine. Does anyone know what might fix this? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
