Try a few discharges and recharges to see if life improves, and take a look at what ASP shows about the FCC and Cycle Count to give an indicatioon of the battery wear. As I said, they wear out, I replace mine every 18 months or so, just had to replace an MBP one after exactly two years. If it doesn't give a long run time, it doesn't give a long run time. Batteries are a consumable and work out a few pennies a day. -- Best wishes Malcolm Cornelius - The Powerbook Fanatic http://www.pbfanatic.co.uk --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
