Further thought... Old zip drives are easy to come by on ebay... the SCSI ones seem to be in demand, probaby from all us Mac enthusiasts, but there are still plenty out there. And if your G3s have USB then there are plenty of USB ones. I find zip the best way to keep all my Macs and PCs talking to each other. Even the very elderly Macs just see a zip drive as an external HD.
