To use SCSI mode, you simply connect the proper cable. There are
square ports on powerbooks. There are normal cables, target cables,
and switchable ones. The normal ones have a pin missing.
To use FW target mode, hold down the T key while booting.
In both cases the other computer should be on first. FW can be hotplug
but
scsi must be connect before other computer is on, and start the target
mode one first.
For desktop get a scsi card (good ones from adaptec) that support fast
or ultra 25 pin on the outside connector. *Never* connect a scsi
device or cable to a pc parallel port !
