Wiggle it some more ! Where in is the point where wiggling works ?
Is the plug tight or loose ? is the power jack itself loose (that is
on the pismo where you plug in the cord, push around on it without the
cord plug in)
if the plug is loose squeeze it with pliers, if the cord has a bad
spot cut that out.
This comes from experience with two flaky pismo type adapters ! I also
have two monitors with flaky cords I have taped/ tied up to work
although occasionally I have to fuss with them.
If you don't want to go to all this hassle, check the jack at least
before you buy a new adapter.
The power in board is about $30 on ebay but requires nearly complete
disassembly to install. I picked up a couple power supplies for $5
each (sorry can't sell due to cord issues).
