Oh, one more thing ...

will it *run* with no battery (remove the battery, will it start ?)
if you want to protect your system files just boot into open firmware
or boot menu
(option key down turning on)

There is also a charging board where the battery goes in separate from
the power in jack on the back. This is a little easier to replace than
the power in card...
