Hi Del,

I don't know if the WiFi was built in as I acquired it second-hand. But
the apple Wifi card was in it when I purchased it. Tom has suggested
that I reseat the RAM and the Airport card which I tried with no
success. Contacted the vendor who supplied me with the duff hard drive
- but as yet not received a reply.

As to the PCMCIA question - I'm no expert - but I can't see why that
wouldn't work. As the Pismo has the PCMCIA slot. Though I haven't tried
a third party card - just use the Airport card.
