The 128 Gb limit applies to the IDE controller attached to the drive 
which in this case is the USB - IDE adapter INSIDE the drive case.  The 
internal controller of the Pismo doesn't matter in the least.

I have hooked up 350Gb drives with FireWire and USB Wallstreets, PM G3s 
and early PM G4s without any 128Gb problems.
