Dunno, never heard it on mine, and I couldn't find a list of known  
POST code noises for it.

MacTracker has 'chimes of death' for many Mac models, but not the  
Powerbooks.

Off topic, but fwiw, the "Carl Sagan"/"BHA"/"LAW" (aka the PowerMac  
7100) has the full screeching brakes, car crash sequence as it's COD;  
later models only have the last 'breaking glass' fragment of the  
crash. I didn't know that...I am intimately familiar with it  
though..my very first PowerMac came to me with that noise. It was a  
7200, and the DIMM had gotten knocked loose during shipping.
