FWIW, I've been using a Kensington model 33193 PS for 3-4 years with my AL powerbook. It came with an adapter that fit the Pismo model, too. (Sorry, I don't remember which power tip it was--Kesnington had different tips for differnt uses--"N" series for computers, another for ipods, some for phones.) I've been happy with this PS--slim so it fits well in a computer bag, doesn't seem to heat up terribly compared to others.
