You can get an external 2.5" Firewire and/or USB drive and use that, provided you have a newer Mac to connect it to. You can also get a USB to IDE interface. This is basically what goes into a USB drive case but it is intended for bench use. Another alternative is a 2.5" to 3.5" IDE adapter. This lets you plug a 2.5" drive into the power and data cables for a 3.5" drive. > > I want to get wireless up and running on this kanga. It works directly the Airport drivers under OS 8.6 and 9. I'm not sure about 8.1). There are a number of WiFi cards out there that are the same basic card as the Orinoco Gold (or Silver works to). I don't have a list handy, but a Google search should yield one. There are Mac drivers for a few other cards but not many. Note that AFAIK, only 802.11b cards will work with OS 9 or below. 802.11a/g/n cards need OS X. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are a member of G-Books, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
