Just for my own understanding I keep thinking the Sonnet Cresendo 300 G3 processor makes the desktop compatable like the G3 Wally 300. I know now that you are right. I was really pulling hair witht the Clone to play DVDs and music CDs with a USB external Pioneer drive. It will play CDs only from the internal Apple drive I installed. So I guess I do have a really fast OS 9.1 with a 22" HP LCD.

If you are aiming to copy 10.2.8 to the desktop machine from the Wallstreet, you will need to use XPostfacto on the Desktop machine as it is not Mac OS X compatible. If you want to run 10.2 on the Wallstreet - yes it will run. You'd be better off with a clean install though. I assumed it was the former that you intended to achieve.
