Yes I tried that . The funny thing is it will chime with a force restart and 
chime during ZAP PRAM from a force restart, but not on normal start up.
I wonder if XPostFacto has something to do with it. I really don't care if it 
chimes because everything else works perfectly. I was just concerned that maybe 
a problem is lurking.
