Any iBook 800 mhz, G3 or G4, should run Tiger just fine if you mash
out the ram to 640 megs.  I've got a number of Clamshells (too many!)
running Tiger with 544 megs and 576 megs of ram.  Even the slower 300
mhz Clamshells do surprisingly well with Tiger (yes, no XPostFacto
needed if you load the OS onto the HD in an appropriate computer, then
transfer the HD to the iBook).  Tiger is the bomb for Power PC G
machines!
