What version of Linux? I tried Ubuntu 8.04, 9.04, 9.10, and Debian 5.0. All of them ran rather poorly compared to Tiger, so I went back to having a pure Mac. Ubuntu looks nice, but it seems to run better on certain hardware than others—and that certain hardware tends to be Intel-based. Sigh…
