FWIW I can only get my AirPort /b cards to work with out password
encryption. So I use a /g card Sonnet Cardbus unit.
Do you use WEP or WAP? B cards like the Airport card or the Lucent
Silver ones can't do WAP at all, or only at a very simple level,
AFAIK.
That's WPA, and Airport cards handle WPA Personal(aka WPA-PSK) just
fine (I've got two at home doing so), and (iirc) some levels of WPA2,
but not WPA-Enterprise.
