It has had some problems over time with the clock reverting to 1914 (replacing pram battery - new from owc didn't seem to fix it). But it was a workhorse every day till now anyway. What I've tried so far: On start up from start button it defaults always to 'flashing floppy w/ question-mark'. Start-up / Command X = same default Start-up / C w/ OS9 disc = ejects cd & same default Start-up / C w/ Disc Warrior = runs DW, showed minor problems, fixed and verified OK Start-up / T - connected firewire to G4 tower, accessed Hardrive OK, made a ccc disc image and burned a DVD. Start-up / C w/ its own ccc'd DVD = ejects, defaults to same '?-mark' Pushed re-set button ( the triangle next to phone plug) and re- started each of 4 times, same deafult. Start-up / pram reset keys (command,option p,r) = same default Unplugged battery and cord, waited 15 minutes, no better.
This is our biz computer, so its pretty critical to us to get it working again.... I have just bought an iBook 1.42 to replace it, I think this little workhorse is simply going into depression!
