Bingo!
That has got to be the doggone quickest recovery I remember - just
disconnecting the pram battery for a bit.
But I nearly had a hilarious train wreck getting there - it has been
long enough since I replaced it that I forgot that this is definitely
Not my Wallstreet... At first I was accidentally following my old
instructions to replace a battery in a WS....... what's to not love
about a Pismo after having changed a battery in a WS!
I am ignorant about most things electronic, but I sharpened up the
tips on my little Cen-Tech multimeter to be like little needles and
inserted them in the 3 holes of the pram battery's connectors, ( I've
no idea how a battery can need 3 leads), but in various combinations I
got 0.4 to 1.2 mA, readings. What should a new one read as?
Is there no way to tell - while the Pismo is running - what the little
battery's charge is?
Thanks so much folks, I got my baby back, Del
(I checked the memory card's seat and it was rock solid.)
