the OP said the PRAM batt has been replaced and the clock still  won't work. 
Just because the battery is a new unit from OWC doesn't mean it's good
I had to return one recently, also a  bad HDD or dirty RAM chips and slots. can 
raise heck. I see the Pismo has no PMU card I did have to change one in
one of my Wallstreet's.
