Getting ready to purchase a new MacBook Pro for my brother. (Or possibly an iPad) He has four major requirements
1: It just has to work

Good start. The mac'll likely do. There's a learning curve (and a steeper UN-learning curve from windows) But I"ve shepherded a dozen or more people through it, most got it right away.

2. Simple wireless connectivity

Mac wireless is easier than Windows.

3. Speech to text software - I have been looking at Dragon Naturally Speaking, any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure that's about it on the Mac.

4. Download a list of his weekly/daily jobs . Essentially he wants to be able to access a list of the jobs he will be going out on that day either first thing in the morning or while he is out and about (and can get wireless access). He currently uses a desktop Windows machine at the office, prints out a list and done. Looking at Bento and iCal so far.

Now this depends on where and what he's downloading...if it's a web page showing this info, he can just save it as a web archive and look at it. What app is he getting this information from on Windows?
