That's called an Appletalk port. You kist need an Appletalk 8-pin
cable. HP is wrong about it...if it was an 8-pin round port on the
back of the printer, it was an Appletalk port.
Strictly speaking it's a LocalTalk port, Appletalk is the
communications protocol, and HP calls it a LocalTalk port.
