If not, please repost giving precise details. As soon as you say
things like "whatever iTunes" and "784 or something"... You're
telling us that the issue is so unimportant that you can't be
bothered to give us the details we might need to assist you.
Off the top of my head, I would ask one question... Does it skip if
you drop the track onto QuickTime Player? IOW, don't use iTunes to
play the track - use QuickTime Player directly.
