Clark —

Thanks very much for your reply and taking the time to check.

This is one of the problems in insisting that threads be kept trim too short or
you could/would have seen what this is about — identifying which is the latest
version of iTunes 9 that can be run on a G3 PB running Tiger, without breaking.
The the point is to get to a version of 9 that will afford the ability to
re-lable podcasts as podcasts inasmuch as that it can't be done in 8.2.1 and
many/most downloaded independently of the iTunes Store wind up in your music as
Blues or something as inane. Also, hopefully, where to find that version.

Is the " designated driver on the Information Super Highway" the own's
multi-tasks the least?

Thanks again.

Holdout.

No, I didn't and certainly didn't expect unqualified Windoze replies here.
Thank you very much for preventing me from stepping out in fast moving traffic.
Now I see that and that they don't have a similar menu up for the older Mac
versions.
Well, first, hopefully, that Ver. number [9.2.1.] is the right one that would
work with Tiger on a G3 PB without breaking. I've asked in the prior post. Once
confirmed, then I guess I need to re-focus on hunting around for that version.
Any suggestions as to where?

I just went to the Apple Download page for iTunes it had a specific link for G3
Macs that led to a download for iTunes v8.2.1. I don't know if a later version
will work or not but that is the version that Apple recommends.
