Hi,

I've read thru the 'net it's a common problem that Lombard Macs have a hard
time to install Mac OS X.

I've tried every combo to install all versions of Mac OS X (from 10 to 10.1,
10.2, and 10.3)... and put RAM at the top and bottom slot, and swapping out,
different RAM 128MB to 256MB, etc.. but basically during any Mac OS X install,
it randomly freezes or reboots... I even took a working 10.3 hard drive from a
Pismo and it would freeze during boot up or after getting to the desktop...

Yet I can installed 9.2.2 on this Mac and it runs just fine!

So frustrating... since 9.2.2 is quite obsolete and it has its own problems in
terms of *once-in-awhile* freezing (due to cooperative multitasking, etc)
common with Mac OS 9.

..any thoughts?

At this point, am I just stuck at 9.2.2 on this Mac?
