My pismo quit a few months back with sleep crashes starting the
symptoms getting worse having to use reset button and then finally
nothing.

I am still not sure what the cause was -- I have replaced both power
cards and the backup battery and worked through the troubleshooting
list I found online.

It boils down for me to I think either logic board or cpu... not sure
what to do with it try again or give up.

I seem to recall something about some crashes may be cause by problems
with display cable or possible inverter that powers the panel for
digital. Since your screen looks funny you might open it up and
inspect all the cables for starters, maybe consider replacing the
inverter. But don't forget that the video is mostly on the logic board
so that could have a developing problem, sometimes chips do go bad.

My screen did not show your symptoms.
