Felix I have a 500Mhz Pismo running 10.4.11 and 9.2.2 and use Classilla too.
Occasionally my Pismo will just go off. You have to take the power cable out and the battery out, pop the battery back in and boot it. I have put this down to a USB 2.0 card I have in PCMCIA slot. It turned off when I had a drive attached via USB 2 the other day. Since removing the card it hasn't done it since. I have had this USB 2 card for a long time and used it with a previous Pismo and a couple of TiBooks. It has always worked under Tiger and Leopard. It is the only thing I can put it down to.
