I've just had a crash and re-booted my Pismo from its OSX 10.4 disc, and almost
finished the endless updates to get it back to 10.4.11.  It's not the first
time, and I feel stupid having to ask, but what's with the sudden Flash 9 or
Flash 10 issues? I think I had Flash 10 before,
since I could stream some tv, and I could play almost any video clip. Now, I
see only
the message "You Need Flash 10 to view this" on various websites. No big deal,
except that
I am directed only to Flash 10 downloads for INTEL-macs; the PPC's aren't even
on the list.

I tried downloading Flash 9 at least, which actually failed twice, so I'm
un-installing
everything-Flash related and looking back at archive pages for the earliest
Flash 10
versions.

Has Adobe suddenly removed any and all support for non-intel Macs, or am I just
forgetting a large chunk of knowledge about this (I have resurrected about seven
G3 power books and iBooks in the last four years; something is definitely
different now).

Any thoughts? (I absolutely hate Flash but I'm unaware of any substitute)
