You may physically have 512 Mb it's entirely possible the computer will only see 384. Some 256 Mb SODIMMs only show up as 128 MB. You need to find a 256 Mb SODIMM that specifically works with a Lombard. > Currently has a Netgear 802.11B PC card for wifi (MA401RA) - no longer > supported by Netgear > IOxperts wifi driver for Netgear card > > OK -- so, the wifi router I hoped this would connect w/ is an > 802.11G. It takes an 80211n card to use 5GHz, neither a "g" nor "b" will. > > Based on earlier discussions here, would a Broadcom chip PC card, > maybe the Motorola WN825G, be the most straight-forward solution? > > What stumps me is -- if the laptop itself "communicates" w/ a 5ghz, > why would a G, (a 2.4ghz), card solve anything?
