I have gotten certain 54 Mbit (G speed) cardbus cards to work on my
old G3  Wallstreet, I expect they would also work in a Pismo but have
to be in the cardbus slots instead of internally - I don't know about
getting an N speed card to work but even the G speed cards are a
5X improvement over the original airport.
