The original airport card is only 802.11b which only 11mpbs. however since the pismo only has usb 1.1 a usb wifi nic give reguardless if its b,g, or n since its bus max is also 11mbps but that is split between all usb devices. so your best bet would be a cardbus card if you want anything faster than that
