Few time ago I read on this list about a chinese converter with you can attach a SD card to a PATA enclosure fitting in lieu of an HD, relatively cheap ... on the other side you can find a good HD for peanuts on ebay. IMHO: on a PISMO G3 you won't watch films or DVD's, nor use as storage, so a 40GB HD is more then enough, and you can buy new, refurbished or simply second hand for peanuts. > The ones that caught my eye on amazon were: > Syba Best Connectivity 2.5" IDE 44-pin to Dual Compact Flash Adapter > ($10.13) and a Transcend 8 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card TS8GCF133 > ($14.99) > in my opinion you need at least 32 GB, but first check if adapter can support ... I have a card reader that read a maximum of 1GB card angelo -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Books, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
