personally, i think apple should build in a "better" way to calibrate the 
lcd screens in powerbooks.

whilst the colorsync calibrate routine works reasonably for crt monitors, 
i always get very-less-than-satisfactory results when i try it on my 
pismo screen ... i've been using that exact same profile you mention for 
some time now, and whilst it gives much better results than anything 
apple supplies or i can create, i'm still a little bugged by the lack of 
richness and crispness it gives to many parts of the screen's gamut ... 

yes, yes, i know, i know ... i should get my screen calibrated properly 
if i'm that worried about it ...
