I got a call from a DJ (disk jockey) who asked if it would be possible to do
a gig from an Apple PowerBook/iBook. While I know that iTunes is a very
powerful application, I was wondering if there is an application for the Mac
specifically for the DJ. If so what would you recommend?

He indicated that the most songs he would get to play at one engagement
would be around 100 but having as many songs available as possible, would be
great when it comes to requests. I could see being able to put more songs
than any DJ could ever need on one iBook (with a 40GB drive) and even more
on an external FireWire drive if needed. Or better yet, a 10GB iPod.

I'm also thinking an older clamshell iBook would get the job done while at
the same time be very durable as well as eye catching.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
-makmac
