A tear in the screen? Does that mean you bought it 'as is'? I've bought a
refurbished iMac from SmallDog with scratches and stains on the case, but I
thought these machines were really supposed to be "remanufactured" and
cosmetically and mechnically up to par. But a tear in the screen doesn't
sound very acceptable to me. Are you actually experiencing obstructed
display as a result? I'm a little shocked that TiBooks would be recycled
with bad screens by Apple and resellers. Maybe it sounds worse than it is...
