Bad News- I had this exact same problem with my PBG3 Wallstreet exactly two weeks out of warranty. Luckily Apple granted me a "one time warranty exception" to fix it. I thought it might have been just the sound card, but the techs at computize told me Apple had to replace the motherboard to get it to work. Hope you have AppleCare.
