Apple's sites lists the maximum support RAM as "192 MB" because, back in
those days, there were no memory chips that were larger.  I think the
memory controller and the pin count supports more, maybe 512 MB, but I'm
not sure.  Can any PDQ owners chime in?

As for RAM, there's plenty of 3rd-party RAM that's cheap.  But if you
seek reliability, go with big-name brands like Crucial.
